Advanced Education in Long-Term
Care
Through a 2007 grant from Kansas Department on Aging the course is
FREE to all
non-licensed employees working in Kansas skilled long-term care homes (nursing, activities,
dietary, laundry, maintenance, social work, medical records, therapy,
management, etc.).
Licensed employees in Kansas (administrators, nurses, social workers, therapists) may attend for FREE if attending with 2 or more non-licensed employees from the same skilled long-term care home.
The Advanced Education in Long-Term Care course is available for 30 contact hours. The cost is $10 for qualified long-term care employees and $255 for all others.
Management & Leadership in Long-Term Care
The course is approved for 14 contact hours. The cost is $140.
NEW GUIDELINES: F323 Accident Supervision
The course is approved for 4 contact hours. The cost is $50.
